Fucking Mice .
They stashed food (and pooped and god-only-knows-what-else) in my sweaters.
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
This started a chain reaction of emptying the storage closet where my dresses, sweaters, and most of the stash lives, and a complete inventory of the stash was performed (insert scary music here). I washed every last damned thing that was in the closet and that was not sealed in plastic. Now I’m just waiting for the guy to come and find whatever holes they came in through and seal them shut so they can’t get back in there.
Thankfully, they didn’t get into the yarn or the fiber stash at all. Ziploc bags and Rubbermaid bins are worth 10x their weight in gold, platinum, and silver.
Sorry if you’re a “friend” on Ravelry. I’m (just about) done clogging up your Friends activity page now. All that’s left to enter is some handspun and my fiber stash. =)
So, while I was late for “E”, I think I had a damn good excuse.
I feel a contest coming on, too.

It’s odd to see mice, poop and have a great day all on the same page…I would still have been cursing at the end of the post (and trying to kill those things).

E seems to also be for “Eeek!” and “Eeeewwww” and “Enough!” Good luck on the mice. Just one can do a lot of damage.

oh YIKES! Are the sweaters salvageable? I hope so… but I also understand the (potential) urge to stuff them in a trash bag and get them out of the house.
