It’s finally 100% finished.
Humidity plus cotton equals a long slow air drying process. I finally had to point a fan at it or it would still be damp.
It will look adorable on what is potentially a little red-haired baby girl waiting to be born.
Pattern: Leaf Yoke Cardigan from Nashua: Bloom, Spring and Summer 2007
Yarn: Nashua Handknits Natural Focus Ecologie Cotton, 2.5 balls
Color: 0083: Curcuma
Needles: Addi Turbo size US 6
Started and finished in June (though it did take till July to finish drying)
*Remember! There are errors in the pattern. Nashua hasn’t finished their website, so if you decide to make it, send me a note and I’ll forward the corrections to you!*
Thanks everyone for your input on the buttons. I wound up using my favorite of the bunch and they actually came in second of all the votes I received. I think they are a perfect match.
I hope the Mommy-to-be likes it!
Have a great weekend!
